INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE RENEWAL OF THE EMERSON NETWORK POWER

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT

RESOLUTION #09-379

WHEREAS, the Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) and batteries in the Ingham County Data Center are currently under annual maintenance with Emerson Network Power; and

WHEREAS, these components provide power to all of Ingham County’s computer systems in the case of a power failure; and

WHEREAS, this agreement is for a period of one year from September 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010, for a total annual payment of $7,835.00; and

WHEREAS, this payment has been planned for and budgeted, and will provide the needed support to maintain the current UPS and batteries in the County’s Data Center.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of Commissioners authorizes the renewal of the Emerson Network Power Annual Maintenance Agreement, for a total cost of $7,835.00, to be paid from the County’s Network Fund (245-25810-932030).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller/Administrator is authorized to make any necessary budget adjustments.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any contract documents consistent with this Resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
