Ingham County records are available under the Michigan Freedom of Information Act. (FOIA). However, not all Ingham County records are available through FOIA, for example court records. Please visit the websites for Circuit Court, Probate Court and 55th District Court for information on how to obtain court documents. 

Ingham County has many public records already available on line.  The following information can be accessed immediately without a FOIA request:  Property Information, Election Information, Vital Records - birth records, death records, marriage records and military discharge DD-214 records.

If you are looking for Court records please contact the Court directly, the Court is not a public body subject to FOIA, MCL 15.232(d)(v).
